Pre-Baptism instruction for parents is required. Parents must be registered in the parish. Plan to attend several months prior to your child’s birth. Baptisms will usually be celebrated the second Sunday of the month. Call the Pastoral Center for information, dates and times. Pick up a baptism booklet and registration form from the table in the Gathering Space. Contact Patty Quinn for specific questions.

Liturgy of the Word for Children The Liturgy of the Word for Children is a liturgical worship experience; it is not a catechism class. We believe that when children are presented with the Word in comfortable settings, in language they can relate to, and are given opportunities to share their responses with their peers as well as adults, children will come to a deeper understanding of liturgy and what it means to lead a life of faith as a Catholic. During the school year at the Sunday 9am Mass the children are dismissed, gather in groups, and are presented with the Sunday readings. Leaders discuss with the children what the Scriptures mean and how they can apply the teachings of Christ to their lives – at school, on the playground, at home…. Children return to the greater assembly and sit with their families for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. This is offered for children ages 3 through 9.
